Applications are sought from experienced Personal Care Workers (PCWs) to join our direct-care team at “Sunnyside”, a 40-bed residential aged care service. Various shifts are available for these permanent part-time positions, with a minimum of three shifts per week (21 hours) on offer.
Reporting to our Care Manager, the purpose of the PCW role is to ensure the highest possible standard of personal care and services are provided to all residents.
Essential Criteria:
- Proven experience working within a residential aged care service
- Well-developed organisational and time management skills
- Effective communication skills
- Able to work all shifts, all days
- Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification
- Current First Aid Certificate
All Sunnyside employees must have:
- Current National Criminal History Record Check (Police Check)
- Current Influenza Vaccination (unless a valid medical exemption is provided)
